Welcome

Michael and I met over Memorial Day weekend last year.  I walked up to the camper, not sure I was in the right place.  Michael stood up, introduced himself, shook my hand, and said "We're goin out on the lake, you ready?"  After that, we were off to the lake with friends.   We spent that weekend making fun of each other and having one of the best weekends of our lives.  We had a great time getting to know each other.  I worried I would never see him again because he didn't even ask for my phone number!

Within days we were in touch and the rest is history.  We spent almost every weekend together for the next 10 months maintaining our long distance relationship.  We spent weekends at my place in the city, and weekends at his place in the country.

The only bad part was the 5 days in between weekends!  We wanted to be together full-time so he popped the question, we got new jobs, sold our houses, and moved to Alabama.  It sounds a lot easier than it was, but it was worth it!

We are so excited to get married at the beach.  It fits us perfectly, as we both love the beach and anything to do with the water.  We can not wait to get our closest friends and family together to celebrate with us!

The ceremony and reception is going to be a neutral and airy event.  The dress is a step below semi-formal.  Slacks are recommended, ties and jackets are optional.  We are hoping for everyone to wear the colors white, sand (tan), aquas, and light blues.  Think of the colors of the beach and the water!  The resort specifies that no shorts are allowed.

The ceremony will be held in the gazebo at 4 pm.  Cocktail hour is from 5-6, followed by the reception from 6-8 pm.  After that we can take our party wherever we like- after all, it is all inclusive!

Rooms:  A direct link to the room reservations is below.

There are currently two room types available on the website. If you prefer a different room than the options listed (honeymoon suites or any of the suites) you may contact Juan Cepeda and here is the procedure for booking those rooms.

-1.Call Juan Cepeda at 877-725-4933 ext 1388. Tell him you are with the Moore-Malloy wedding party and would like to book a honeymoon suite, or other suite (all other rooms can be booked with the link above).  Have a credit card ready.  Verify it was booked under our party.
2. Contact me and notify me that you booked a room so that I can do a secondary verification.

You will need to set up airport transportation in advance.  Information and details provided on the link where you book your room.

If you are interested in planning resort activities- it is advised that you also schedule these a few weeks in advance because they fill up.  You may call the hotel for information about that.  Please do not schedule any for Friday night Nov. 7 as we will all be having dinner together, or Saturday Nov. 8.

Spa Services can be scheduled in advance on the hotel website.

Depending on how many nights you are staying- you will receive anywhere from $500 dollars or more in resort credit to be able to use toward these services.

It is only a matter of time until I take those first steps down the sunny, tropical aisle to become Mrs. Michael Malloy! This will be an eventto remember and we can't wait to share it with all of you!

For those who are able to attend, send us your response card or feel free to email or call.  We will send you instructions on how to reserve your room under the wedding party of Moore-Malloy.  It is very important that you reserve it under the wedding party to ensure there are seats and food for all guests!

If you are arriving on Friday, we will be having a "rehearsal" dinner at one of the resort restaurants.  Please let us know if you can attend the rehearsal dinner.  The purpose of the rehearsal dinner is to practice partying and celebrating so that we are prepared for Saturday when it is official!

Michael and I would like to thank all of our family and friends who have been so supportive over the last year.

A special thanks goes out to my mother, Gina, for her incredible support and generosity in making my dream wedding happen.  I'm pretty sure she had given up on me ever getting married!  Thanks Mom!

Your presence and thoughts are the best gift to us.  But, for those who are interested, we are registered here if you would like to help contribute to our honeymoon.  We are also registered on amazon.com.  I know people will ask- and I feel practical issues supercede proper etiquette.  Hope to see you at the beach!
